Angie Deeks (Australia)

I began my career in Vaulting in 1989 standing next to a barrel with the German Vaulting book in one hand surrounded by a gaggle of enthusiastic “would be” vaulters of diverse abilities. Since then, my passion for our creative and ever evolving sport has matured into what non- vaulting people might refer to as an obsession. 
My involvement in the sport of Vaulting has allowed me to travel regularly to Europe to expand my knowledge, make friends of other Vaulting obsessed people around the world and to have some amazing experiences. I have been recognised for my contributions to our wonderful sport over the years and my favourite highlight was being invited by FEI to Judge the Junior World Championships in 2017.
​When I am not doing something for Vaulting, I am caring for my 92yr old husband, managing a BAS Agent business and creating beautiful leadlight pictures and suncatchers.
